Project ‘Life’ is central to the operations of two non-profits: Saurashtra Medical & Educational Charitable Trust, founded in 1978, and Indian Medical Scientific Research Foundation, established in 1991. For over forty years, these organizations have focused on humanitarian issues including blood banking, environmental preservation, thalassemia prevention, holistic health, rural education, women's empowerment, networking for non-resident Gujaratis, and paramedic postgraduate education.

Life Blood Centre (LBC) is an award winning blood bank in a purpose built building with 15,000 sq.ft. built up area over 5 levels, accommodating voluntary blood bank, laboratories, Thalassaemia prevention programme cell and Life Institute of Health Sciences affiliated to Saurashtra University, Rajkot.

Life Thalassaemia Prevention Centre (LTPC) endeavors to prevent & eradicate the deadly blood disorder Thalassaemia. Innovative programmes covering awareness drives, Thalassaemia trait screening campaigns, counselling, prenatal & antenatal screenings & exhibitions are implemented motivate marriageable youth to test for the disorder & avoid marriage between Thalassaemia Minors.

Life Education Centre (LEC) has been conceptualized with a view to fostering excellence in primary education. LEC re-structures dilapidated primary schools in villages into new state-of-the-art learning facility and renders holistic development of children through scholarships, teachers training, digitization, smart class rooms, innovative science projects, sports and cultural activities.

Life Health & Wellness Centre (LHWC) aims at encouraging better health regime and life style for people, through well designed, expertly administered Yoga, Pranayam and Meditation programmes & training courses. LHWC has active collaborations with Kaivalyadham Lonavala and Jain Vishva Bharati, Ladnun, Rajasthan, and conducts regular on & offsite Shibirs & teacher trainings.

Life Women Empowerment Centre (LWEC) imparts vocational skills training to less privileged & disadvantaged women & widows leading to self-reliance, social respect, self-confidence, improved medical care and better education for children. Programme includes trade equipment, market linkage & supplementary training in self-defense, gender equality, budgeting, banking and finance.

NRG Centre shares objectives of ‘Vibrant Gujarat Summit’ conceptualized by Hon’ble Shri Narendra Modi to promote knowledge exchange, global socio-economic development & partnerships. Bridging India & Indian diaspora abroad, The Centre encourages networking, information exchange, international brotherhood through participative involvement and organizes seminars on marriage & settlement abroad.

Life Institute of Health Sciences (LIHS) is affiliated to Saurashtra University, Rajkot, Gujarat. This well equipped institution is dedicated to educate, train and deliver skilled medical laboratory professionals to serve the society in the field of pathology, blood banking, and allied health sciences offering one year Post Grad Diploma course in Medical Laboratory Technology (P.G.D.M.L.T.)
