Mr. Shashikant Koticha is a man of determination and dedication. Born in November 1943 in city of Jaysingpur, is Chairman & Managing Director of diversified business group Jayshree Vyapar Ltd (JVL). He is also CMD in group companies Jayshree Finvest Ltd. and Shakoti Agro Forestry Pvt. Ltd. at Rajkot. He did his Masters in Commerce from the Gujarat University. In his early days of professional career, he worked for publication agency and also worked in Bank of Baroda for a couple of years. He along with his younger brother Mr. Chandrakant Koticha, planted the seeds of this JVL Empire in the year 1969.
He is the Founder and President of Rajkot Share-holders' Association and held the responsibilities of execution and participation in policy formulation, management, public relations, growth planning and developments. He has been awarded the Parker International Pen friend Program, Wisconsin, USA. He also honored for organizing the Golden Jubilee of Charitable Night School, Rajkot. He was appointed as a member of Gujarat Ecological Commission by the Gujarat Government.
Going through hard struggle in the early days of personal life, he is committed to help the poor and needy persons. He founded the Saurashtra Medical and Educational Charitable Trust - one of the biggest and most reputed NGO of Saurashtra regions to help the underprivileged section of the society. For his noble humanitarian activities, he was honored and facilitated by the Governor and Chief Minister of Gujarat.
He has written a book “Enlightened Retirement” after retirement for retired persons signifying ways of making their lives full of leisure and fulfilling life structure filled. He embraced his dreams and with persistent endeavor, he fulfilled it.
Mr. Chandrakant Koticha is a renowned humanitarian and philanthropist. As the Founder and Executive Trustee, he envisaged Project ‘Life’ in 1978 comprising several diverse interventions which transformed the community and society in Gujarat. The major role is to bring health awareness in the community, bridge the gap and alleviating gender equality through various social initiatives such as health awareness & promoting wellness, skill development and empowering women, constructing schools in rural areas and saving the environment by distributing nurtured plants since last four decades. His untiring efforts has helped to identify Project ‘Life’ by Government of Gujarat as on one of the Six Non – Resident Gujarati Centres for the region.
He is a founder director of Jayshree Group which has grown into an enormous business house that is engaged in diverse business interests across the nation. He has also participated severally in the Top Executive & Managers Training at the reputed institutions. Since 1978, he has dedicated his full life for pioneering invaluable interventions which have served to alleviate poverty, facilitate quality blood banking facilities, bring about gender equality, rejuvenate educational infrastructure and learning ambience, powered health and wellness campaigns, prevent the genetic blood disorder such as Thalassaemia through awareness programs and conserve environment. Over the course of 41 years, he has touched and transformed more than 6 million lives. For his self-sacrificing work for the society, he was honoured and awarded by the then Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Narendra Modi with the 'Sharedil Award'.
He is Executive Director of Parikh Worldwide Media LLC’s and Parikh Foundation for India Global Development. As a social entrepreneur and philanthropist he has multi-dimensional exposer spread across various sectors in India and Abroad. He possess professional and dynamic leader having significant top management experience in building and scaling Social enterprise, Corporates and Government.
Mr Kirit Vassa is one of the founders of Goldmine Group of Companies. Goldmine is a highly revered name in the field of Equity, Commodity, Currency and Bullion market apart from various real estate and hospitality initiatives. Mr. Kirit Vassa inculcated the high values in business in the team making them a family, Goldmine Parivar.

He is very passionate about giving back to the society & is deeply involved in causes that support education; healthcare, housing & national pride especially women empowerment. He serves as a trustee & on board of various philanthropic organizations.
Ms. Meetal Koticha Shah, born in June 1973, is Joint Executive Trustee of Saurashtra Medical & Educational Charitable Trust (SMECT) looking after all the activities run by the trust. The objectives of the Project 'Life' are to support life through diversified human services which includes Blood banking, Thalassaemia eradication, environment up gradation and health care programmes, school construction, excellence in education by providing scholarship, teaching - learning aids, woman empowerment, Gujarat State Non Residential Gujarat’s Foundation Centre etc. Ms. Shah is responsible for policy formulation, General Management and development, public relations, system formulation and objective promotion, identification of technological advancement areas and tie-ups, coordinating with National and International Organisations. In her leadership, Project ‘Life’ won the state level best NGO award for exemplary services in the field of woman empowerment in the year 2010-’11.

Under her leadership in 2020, Life Blood Centre (LBC) was awarded the Developing Country Award 2020 by International Society of Blood Transfusion (ISBT), Amsterdam, The Netherlands amongst 114 participating countries with LBC’s abstract having been selected under initiative of ISBT named ‘I TRY IT’. She is being Instrumental in getting NABH accreditation to Life Blood Centre in the year 2013. LBC remains the first and only blood bank in Saurashtra to have this accreditation.
